Staff IAM Engineer
London

Role Overview:

Sony Interactive Entertainment is searching for a highly proficient candidate to join SIE’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) team which is responsible for IAM tool deployment, improvements, and maintenance. This individual will work with various partners (HR, Legal, IT, Information Security, and more) to build out and improve existing IAM tools and engineer innovative solutions. The selected candidate will be capable of defining and implementing well-constructed operational strategies, processes, and procedures; as well as having excellent communication and social skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Okta solutions to support SIE’s Identity and Access Management Requirements
  • Collaborate with partners to gather requirements and define Okta architecture and integration strategies.
  • Configure connectors to a wide variety of endpoints in Okta.
  • Build and maintain thorough user documentation, manuals, policies, and processes for Okta and other tools.
  • Resolve identity related issues across the SIE organization.
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps for IAM systems and programs for SIE.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to IT teams and partners on Okta standard processes, architecture, and implementation strategies.
  • Conduct regular or emergency maintenance or software upgrades as required.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability in automating identity related solutions.
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience crafting, implementing, and supporting Identity Providers. 8+ years of experience with Okta
  • Proficiency in scripting languages.
  • Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Capable of working independently and handling a diverse workload.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response.
  • Work with Internal and External teams to resolve product and process related issues.
  • Ability and willingness to work with team members in different time zones.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of the Okta platform (Workforce Identity preferred)
  • Solid understanding of AuthN/AuthZ protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
  • Experience with integrating Okta with enterprise applications, directories and systems.
  • Scripting experience required.
  • Good understanding of Okta REST APIs and Okta Workflows
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), IT processes and procedures, information security, and systems implementations required.
  • Saviynt and Entra ID experience a plus but not a requirement.
  • End-to-End ownership of automated Identity Solutions.
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead people and projects focused on Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with IAM delivery pipelines.

Education:

  • BS./B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Technical certifications a plus, but not required.
