About the Team:
The Product UX & Tooling team within the Future Technology Group supports PlayStation's cloud gaming innovation by creating essential software tools for teams.
We build services and tools that help teams save time, avoid errors, scale their operations, and deliver delightful user experiences. Our focus is on identifying and optimizing business-critical processes, providing accessible, reusable, customizable, reliable, secure, and beautifully designed software, including our application development platform, a UI development kit, and backend/middleware frameworks. We also offer a complete tech stack for standalone applications that can be hosted on-premise or in AWS.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Learn how internal web applications are developed at PlayStation.
Understand the requirements for providing tools to support cloud gaming products.
Create components for a software development kit (SDK) for single-page applications in JavaScript.
Build web applications for internal clients, ensuring compliance with UX and accessibility standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field, with an expected graduation by Spring 2026.
Strong understanding of front-end web technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with single-page application frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, or similar.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Interest in learning and understanding complex systems and technology stacks.
Eligibility:
Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th.
Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
