Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

The Developer Platform team is at the ground floor of building the next-gen developer experience at BILL. You will be joining a team of developers who are passionate about APIs, SDKS, and tools that support BILL’s developer community. Your role will entail developing, enhancing, and shaping the architecture of API connectivity solutions.

We’d love to chat if you have:

A deep appreciation of others' perspectives, excellent communication abilities, and a profound appreciation for the effectiveness of teamwork
5+ years experience in designing, developing, and delivering customer centric enterprise level back end solutions
Proven hands-on skills with programming experience in Java, multi-threading, event driven architectures, REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologies
Familiarity with modern web services, APIs and SDKs
A drive and a strong passion for continual learning in the field of engineering, with a particular focus on enhancing developer support capabilities.
Strong understanding of developer needs and user-centric design principles for APIs.
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, from large banking partners to smaller Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and the broader developer community.
Proficiency in developing tooling that enhances API usability and developer experience.
Experience in the payments industry or building payment applications.

Nice to Have

Experience in the Fintech industry
Expertise with using AWS services (including Lambda, SNQ, SQS) to build microservices

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. The estimated salary ranges noted below roles in the specific geographic zones

Zone 1- San Francisco Bay Area CA (includes HQ), New York City, Seattle

$146,900—$176,300 USD

Zone 2- CA (Non San Francisco Bay Area), Austin TX, Massachusetts

$132,200—$158,700 USD

Zone 3 -Utah (includes Utah office), Houston TX (office), Florida, North Carolina

$124,900—$149,900 USD
