Job Description & Responsibilities:

Interactive Brokers seeks expert database developers to expand its reference data systems development team. Candidates must be ready to start designing, implementing, and loading Oracle-based data systems immediately.

Education:

BS and MS in computer science.
Candidates must have graduated with distinction.

Required Skills:

To immediately start designing, implementing, and loading Oracle-based data systems.
Work closely with the development team based in other IBKR Offices in the US.
Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.
Research and develop technology solutions to extend and improve IBKR's Reference Database Systems.
Expert-level Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Expert-level Java programming language
Expert-level Python programming language
Expert-level Perl scripting language
Expert-level Linux operating system and Bash shell language
Excellent communication

Required Experience:

At least two years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and loading Oracle-based data systems.

Minimum Expectations:

Immediately start designing, implementing, and loading Oracle-based data systems.
Quickly learn to use Git, Gerrit, Confluence, and Jira.
