⭐ Mission: Join us as a Python Engineer to collaborate on the integration processes between Regate and major accounting tools. Your work will directly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations by eliminating the need for double encoding and manual processes.
⚡Impact: In this role, you will work closely with Aurélien, our Squad lead of the Integrations team, making a significant impact by automating data transformations and integrations, thus enabling accountants to seamlessly sync their existing accounting frameworks into Regate with a single click.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Python Engineer for our Regate Business Unit, you will:

Design, implement and maintain robust ETL systems using Python, specifically focusing on integrating various accounting tools into Regate's platform.
• Critically review and optimize existing code functions to ensure they meet the high standards of performance and reliability expected in financial environments.
Develop and maintain APIs that facilitate efficient data retrieval and processing, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end functionalities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers (RoR), front-end developers, operations, and product managers, to align integration strategies with business goals.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in coding and process design to lead the evolution of our integration infrastructure.

🤔 What you can expect:

• You'll be joining a dynamic team of 5 engineers where your work directly contributes to the simplification of accounting processes for SMEs and freelancers across Europe.
• Our Regate business unit uses agile methodologies and value proactive problem-solving and autonomy in role execution.
• As part of a Ruby team, you’ll contribute to build the Python expertise and pair with other engineers.

• Experience: You have substantial experience in building and optimizing ETL processes, preferably in a startup environment where agility and adaptability are crucial.
• Mastery: Proficient in Python with a strong grasp of data processing and API development.
• Customer drive: You are driven by product impact, always looking to translate data insights into actionable product features.
• Autonomy: Capable of working independently, you bring best practices to your work and are comfortable being the go-to person for your domain.
• Collaborative skills: Excellent communicator able to work effectively with diverse teams across different functions and geographies.
