Senior Software Engineer- Netsuite

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• Craft client code that is not just efficient, but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools.
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.
• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.
• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

Technical Competencies

• Needed Skills
• At Least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer/IT Industry
• Minimum 3 years experience in NetSuite development ERP/CRM. Solid grapes of ERP systems, especially NetSuite, are fundamental. The candidate must demonstrate how NetSuite handles business processes, data management, and integrations.
• Proficiency with JavaScript
• Expertise in creating workflows (using SuiteFlow), customizations (using SuiteScript 2. x), and integrations (using SuiteTalk/RESTlets) to automate tasks and connect NetSuite with other systems.
• Experience designing robust solutions by choosing the right script type, entry points, and error-handling strategies for different scenarios. Promoting script reuse and modularity.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Maintaining and resolving production support tickets, troubleshooting
• Problem, testing tools, and working with businesses to resolve any issues.
• Collaborative in the software development cycle
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to quickly establish credibility & foster collaborative relationships across functional and geographically dispersed teams
• Able to work with relational databases and SQL language
• Participate in high-level planning/estimation of new features

Additional Experience Desired

• Experience in GIT
• Basic knowledge of AWS
• Certified as a NetSuite Developer
• Experience working with Celigo \
• SuiteSQL
