Collaborate across the broader IT Operations team and Corporate Security team to maintain, operate, and optimize core parts of our corporate IT infrastructure stack.
Design, develop, and implement IT infrastructure systems and automation to address business stakeholder requirements and security needs.
Lead security patching efforts to ensure critical parts of our systems and services are free of vulnerabilities and maintenance is performed with minimal disruption to end users.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices, accuracy, optimization, and adherence to coding standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT Operations team members, sharing expertise and driving excellence across IT Infrastructure and Automation.
Stay up-to-date with IT industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement of our solutions.
BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience in related field
3+ years in IT Operations, Technical Operations or Engineering preferably at a fast-paced high-growth company
Experience with one or more programming languages relevant to scripting, automation, and interacting with APIs (Python, Bash, PowerShell, PHP).
Advanced technical proficiency and/or experience across some of the following systems/services:
IaaS: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Orchestration/Configuration Management (IaC): Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, Artifactory
Monitoring & Logging: Datadog, PagerDuty, Splunk, ThousandEyes
Proficient in IT security, able to stay focused during incidents, and skilled in organization, planning, and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including contact with remote teams
Proven success in independently managing projects, solving complex problems, and understanding technical requirements across all levels
High energy, excellent teamwork, and commitment to exceeding expectations
Preferred skills:
Experience with version control systems (Git), Continuous integration/Continuous deployment (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JFrog Pipelines)
Advanced technical proficiency and/or experience across some of the following systems/services:
Core Infrastructure: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Domain Services, Okta, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS
Web Platforms: Apache, Tomcat, NGINX, IIS
DBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server
Security: Secure DNS, IDS/IPS, EDR, Firewalls
Technical certifications preferred across IT Operations domain (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, RHCSA, MCSA, AWS, GCC, etc. )
Strong networking foundation with an understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model
