Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer, Home Loans in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Design, develop, code, test and deploy user-facing resilient and scalable products
and experiences. Work with multiple languages; Java, Kotlin, graphQL, Kafka, React, MongoDB
to name a few to build performant and scalable backend applications in a cloud based
microservices architecture. Work with engineering, and product stakeholders in order to build
the best financial products and tools. Collaborate with a team of like-minded engineers focused
on building industry-leading software. Own and ideate on technical solutions for product
requirements and user stories with minimal supervision. Participate in design and code reviews,
generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of
experience in the job offered or related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline,
and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Data warehousing; (3) Linux; (4) Web Services; (5)
Web UI; (6) Unit Testing; (7) HTML; (8) CSS; and (9) JavaScript. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
