Team Description

Pendo's Session Replay product empowers businesses to understand exactly how users interact with their digital platforms, ensuring that any issues or opportunities for improvement are swiftly identified and addressed. With Session Replay, customers can visually review real user sessions, gaining invaluable insights into user behavior, troubleshooting errors, and enhancing overall user experience. The Session Replay team is at the forefront of crafting these insightful user journeys, presenting an exciting opportunity to shape the product that transforms raw data into actionable insights. By focusing on delivering a comprehensive view of the user experience, the team plays a pivotal role in enabling businesses to make data-driven decisions that optimize their digital landscapes for both efficiency and engagement.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Use technologies such as Vue2, Cypress, Jest, and regular VanillaJS
  • Works with a feature team to both build new and maintain existing customer facing features
  • Works with all layers of Front End code; from implementing user-centered designs to retrieving the data needed to display on a newly created chart to handling complex business logic
  • Drives and coordinates peers to execute on large projects within the team’s domain
  • Participates on cross-team initiatives focused on improving technologies and frameworks used or on improving Pendo as a place to work
  • Maintains a focus on quality
  • Provides technical guidance to teammates through code and design reviews
  • Works in an agile environment

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience writing JavaScript code 
  • Thorough and detailed knowledge of at least one modern web framework (Vue, React, Angular)
  • Experience with web applications that serve/have served many users in an agile environment
  • Experience designing and writing unit and integration tests to deliver a quality product
  • Interest in learning new technologies, languages, etc.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Vue is preferred
  • Automation experience is a plus 
  • Experience working with cloud based infrastructure
  • Experience with FE performance
  • Experience with quality engineering and testing

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in North Carolina is $130,000 - $145,000.

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
