Blockchain.com is the world's leading software platform for digital assets. Offering the largest production blockchain platform in the world, we share the passion to code, create, and ultimately build an open, accessible and fair financial future, one piece of software at a time.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join our lean, high-impact team and help shape the future of Web3. You’ll dive deep into building innovative financial and crypto-native products, services, and APIs, playing a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge onchain solutions. As a key member of our Web3-focused crew, you’ll bring your expertise to craft seamless, user-centric experiences that push the boundaries of decentralized technology.

In this role, you’ll lead by example—guiding technical discussions, shaping our front-end architecture, and championing best-in-class engineering practices. With a hands-on mindset and a passion for efficiency, you’ll collaborate closely with our talented team, driving creative solutions without the drag of unnecessary bureaucracy. If you thrive at the intersection of focus, creativity, and technical excellence, this is your chance to make a lasting mark on the frontier of Web3.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design and build cutting-edge Web3 applications, prioritizing intuitive UX and top-tier performance to deliver seamless, impactful user experiences.
  • Collaborate proactively with our lean team, sharing knowledge and insights to elevate our collective expertise and accelerate innovation.
  • Tackle the most compelling and complex challenges in the Web3 space, pushing the limits of decentralized technology with creative, hands-on solutions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging the latest tools, frameworks, and advancements to get the job done.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Web3 Expertise: Proven experience with blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 development, including proficiency in client-side signing and crypto transaction handling (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of React, Web3 libraries (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js) and wallet integrations, paired with a track record of delivering secure, functional front-end solutions.
  • Ownership & Independence: Ability to take full responsibility for your work—scoping, implementing, testing, and releasing high-quality features independently, without leaning on product managers, QA, or other developers.
  • Problem-Solving: Comfort with ambiguity, capable of refining vague tasks into actionable plans by collaborating with stakeholders, asking smart questions, and managing expectations effectively.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to pivot between Web2 and Web3 challenges and shifting business priorities, paired with a hunger for continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Engineering Excellence: Experience structuring front-end code for security, maintainability, and testability, with a passion for rigorous engineering practices. Hands-on expertise with automated testing is a strong plus.

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

  • Full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity in an industry-leading company
  • Hybrid model working from home & our office in London
  • Unlimited vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it
  • Work from anywhere policy
  • Apple equipment
  • The opportunity to be a key player and build your career at a rapidly expanding, global technology company in an emerging field
