Your Role at impact.com:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement Team, responsible for empowering our engineering organization with robust tools, frameworks, and practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure the scalability and performance of our frontend infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable frontend architectures and frameworks that support rapid iteration and maintainability across multiple projects. You will be a main contributor to our internal design system and component library.
  • Tooling and Automation: Develop and maintain tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient frontend development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment on technical implementations.
  • Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce frontend coding standards, best practices, and code review processes to maintain high-quality codebase integrity.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development, and evaluate their potential impact on our technology stack.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document architectural designs, processes, and solutions effectively, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries, particularly Vue.js. React and Angular experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Understanding of key design principles and proficiency with the design tool Figma
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and tools like Vitest and Playwright.
  • Deep understanding of modern dev tools like Vite and Storybook.
  • Basic understanding of back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
  • Experience in advertising technology and affiliate marketing is a plus.
  • Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA
