About the Team

The Business Applications team is a crucial part of our Merchant Product organization, which builds upon the DoorDash vision of connecting local delivery networks in cities all across the world. Impact is the name of the game for our Business Applications team - this team executes major projects that promote internal efficiency, allowing our sales and services teams to exceed goals.

About the Role

As a Senior AWS Connect Developer on the Business Applications team, you will collaborate with our business transformation team, advising as the lead expert on all things AWS Connect as it pertains to contact center technologies. You will design all facets of our application, which is integrated with Salesforce CRM - from concept to implementation. You will provide technical guidance on different CCaaS voice platforms to both senior stakeholders and business partners. You will report into an Engineering Manager on our Business Applications team in our product organization.

  • Operate as the expert on the team for AWS Connect projects that are impactful to all 3 sides of the DoorDash business.
  • See the impact of your work first-hand by means of personal interactions with our customers.
  • Lead architecture and development of phone and voice solutions for platforms and teams across the enterprise.
  • Provide technical direction on different CCaaS voice platforms.

We’re excited about you because…

  • 5 or more years of industry experience leading technical projects that are customer-facing within Contact Center Technologies.
  • 2 or more years industry experience directly working on Amazon Connect.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM 
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing call routing with dynamic messaging
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo, AWS API Gateway, AWS Lex (Voice / Chat Bots), AWS S3, Amazon Connect Streams.
  • Programming skills in Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and with Github / bitbucket for source / version control.
  • Working knowledge of WebRTC and SIP.
  • AWS Certified Developer Associate – Certification is a plus!
