As a Regulatory Data Analyst, you will be actively involved in coordinating Qonto's timely provision of regulatory reporting to our Supervisory authorities. This position is key to ensuring consistent data quality, procedural discipline, and robust organization to submit regulatory reporting.

You will be part of the growing Risk & Compliance function and report to Alexandre, our Lead Regulatory & Internal Governance.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Regulatory Data Analyst at Qonto, you will

Coordinate the submission of regulatory reporting to the authorities which supervise Qonto’s activities. As a growing payment institution based in 4 European markets, Qonto is eligible for an increasing number of reporting, notifications, and declarations to its Supervisors, and the role will be key to supporting this goal
Perform data sourcing and formatting alongside your team members and the other teams (Data, Finance, Ops, Risk, etc.) and control its accuracy, consistency, and exhaustiveness
Maintain data quality control over Qonto’s regulatory reporting: continuous improvement of our process and data quality will be key in order to comply with our Supervisors’ expectations
Make the necessary changes in case of new reporting requirements

🤝 About your future Manager

Your manager will be Alexandre, our Lead Regulatory & Internal Governance

His background? Has worked 5 years in Regulatory Compliance on international markets at HSBC, and is now leading a growing team of 5 talented people at Qonto (Laura, MerveVittoriaLaura, and Vincent). Alexandre has a deep understanding and knowledge of the regulation and its specificities

What he can bring to the team? Upon joining Qonto, Alexandre created a collaborative and inspiring team from scratch. His scope not only includes France but also our international markets (Italy, Spain, and Germany). He will be the perfect manager to help you grow and understand the challenges of compliance in a hyper-growth environment
Alexandre is our DPO and the one in direct connection with Qonto’s supervisors (ACPR, CNIL, branch regulators), this strategic position will offer you a lot of visibility on how the world of compliance truly works

🏅About You

Experience: You have a minimum of 2/3 years of experience in data-related projects within the financial sector
Mastery: You master the usual querying tool and know how to handle a DevOps project. Metabase, Snowflake, Gitlab, and/or Python experience would be a plus
Languages: You are native or fluent in English and French. Other languages spoken at Qonto (Italian, German or Spanish) would be a plus
Organizational skills: You are structured, well-organized, and can arrange appropriately to keep the defined timelines. You are also able to anticipate hard points and manage accordingly
Analytical mind: You have strong analytical skills and a critical mind, and you are able to work on continuously improving your deliverables
