About the job

The IT Automation team is part of the Information Technology department, which oversees the information system organization and its evolution regarding the company’s needs and strategy. Reporting to your engineering manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical solutions for the internal team. As a DevOps specialist in billing and payment automation, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing processes related to billing and financial transactions. Your role will involve integrating automated solutions while maintaining a stable and highly available infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop automation tools to efficiently manage the billing process, including the monthly billing cycle
Contribute to the improvement of the monthly billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Ensure continuous availability of systems, maintaining a robust and resilient infrastructure for seamless billing operations
Implement monitoring mechanisms to quickly detect and resolve issues related to financial transactions
Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards for financial data

Minimum qualifications

Proven experience in Python development, with a deep understanding of automation principles
Experience as a Devops Engineer
Experience with API development, especially with gRPC protocol
Experience with containerized applications
Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
Good command of English & French

Preferred qualifications

Ability to develop solutions under a micro-services context
Knowledge of Golang
Experience working with Ansible, Gitlab CI, Sentry, Prometheus
Demonstrated ability to develop solutions from scratch
Passionate about the cloud ecosystem
