We are looking to enhance our capabilities in building cloud native software. We are seeking out engineers with cloud experience and DevOps mindset to work closely with software development teams. That’s where you come in!


You will

  • Build AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform
  • Provide guidelines for CI/CD pipelines and observability stack.
  • Work closely with engineering organization including software development teams.
  • Share knowledge about DevOps best practices across Sonalake.
  • Actively participate in suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluation.


You may be a fit for this role if you

  • 3+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Demonstrable operational experience with AWS (additional GCP, Azure experience is welcomed)
  • Experience in managing multi-region, multi-cloud large scale infrastructure
  • Infrastructure as a code (Terraform)
  • Experience in setting up observability stack. E.g. OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Tempo, Loki, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
  • Hands on experience in tools used for cloud-native applications and orchestration (e.g.Kubernetes, ECS, Docker)
  • Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals and internals like filesystems, security, networking etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines tools such as Jenkins, GitLab
  • Has experience in technical mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Are a great communicator in English - both written and spoken
