The Basics:

As a member of Tanium’s Brand and Corporate Marketing team, the Web Operations Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Web Experience, and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of www.tanium.com. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with enterprise websites, understands technical SEO and web analytics, and takes a process-driven approach to web production. 

This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Tanium websites 
  • Manage weekly web production tasks 
  • Partner with the Web team, agency and UX on web projects 
  • Work with the Web and Content teams to improve organic search rankings by implementing SEO best practices 
  • Recommend site improvements based on data and conversion optimization best practices 
  • Regularly scan and test the website for cross browser compatibility and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards 
  • Develop and maintain web SOPs and training documentations 
  • Establish and own process on website tagging, tracking and analytics, leveraging tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • The ideal candidate is: 
    • is process-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
    • is adaptable in fast, sometimes ambiguous environment 
  • BA or BS in in related field 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in website management or equivalent 
  • Experience with WCAG 2.2 standards 
  • Expertise in Google web products 
  • Able to demonstrate innovation, successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environments

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $270,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
