Test Engineer II (Hybrid-Classy Live)

Classy's Product Technology team is hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing and executing both manual and automated software tests for the Classy Online Fundraising Platform.  We want to talk to you if you have a strong desire to be part of a team that collaborates across teams and business units.

What you’ll accomplish:

• Design, develop and execute innovative and comprehensive tests (manual and automated) verification and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques 

• Involved in all aspects of test including: design-for-test, integration, subsystem and component level testing through functional customer experience (UI) testing

• Work with systems leads and peers on system designs, requirements development, and process implementation

• Collaborate with personnel across multiple disciplines and teams including: engineering, product management, design, marketing and customer care

• Participate in continual product improvement efforts and work with team members to implement best practices and procedures

• Mentor other team members and share your subject matter expertise across teams

• Work with limited supervision, and take ownership of testing projects to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals as assigned

 

What you bring:

• 3+ years experience designing, developing, and executing software test both manual and automated in a fast paced scrum (agile) environment

• Experience Testing on both Android and iOS devices

• Experience working on technical projects within cost and schedule as part of a product development team

• Strong interpersonal skills, basic level presentation skills, and professional demeanor

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Effective team player with high level of customer empathy 
• Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented agile scrum environment

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or Technical School for Programming
• Experience working with SaaS applications deployed to AWS

• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills

• Nonprofit or online fundraising experience
