About the Company

Wibmo is an US-based leading provider of eCommerce authentication and cashless payment solutions to banks and consumers in emerging markets including India. The company based in Cupertino, CA and Bengaluru India, processes billions of transactions and delivers high availability digital payment services to banks, merchants, and consumers.

With services in over 20 countries and recently acquired by PayU, the fintech-arm of Prosus, we are passionate about delivering state-of-art digital payment solutions around the world. We are a rapidly growing company and expanding our market reach and seek highly motivated, proactive individuals to join the leadership team.

With a focus on global growth, we are seeking a strong industry leader to expand its payment security product suite, one of the largest providers of payment authentication services in the world and its services include products and services that handle digital transaction authentication, fraud monitoring, transaction risk assessment and related services.

PayU, an online payment service provider and Naspers' fintech arm, acquired Wibmo in Apr 2019 to help the company scale-up its business. Under the agreement, PayU and Wibmo businesses will continue to run separately.

Job purpose

Should have demonstrated ownership, leadership, and hands-on experience in managing a software product engineering and delivery organization.

Duties and responsibilities

· Should be able to come up with Software architecture (security, flexibility, scalability)

· Should be able to come up with High-level and Low-level design

· Should have working experience in Product development.

· Should be a full stack developer

· Should be able to handle the team and deliver as per committed timelines.

· Should be able to work in small Agile teams on aggressive timelines and ensure quality deliverable

· Should be able to analyse and troubleshoot issues in production

· Work closely with product management and Leaders to execute an idea from concept to delivery using excellent software design, coding, & processes

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Technical Skills

· In-depth knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies

· In-depth knowledge on Rest and SOAP services.

· Experience in Angular / React JS

· Should be full stack developer

· Experience in Kafka Messaging Queue

· Experience in developing application using Microservices Architecture

· Knowledge of working on proposals and estimations

· Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Application Performance Tuning, Transaction management etc)

· Exposure to high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance is an added advantage.

· Experience in Cloud environment is an added advantage.

Functional Domain Skills

· Should have working experience in Digital Payments domain.

· Experience in Authentication domain is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications for this Role

· 7 to 10 years of software development experience

· Experience in building fintech domain is a plus

· A passion for technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly

Experience & Qualifications

· B.E/ M.E/ M.C.A from a reputed institute

· Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE, Databases like MS SQL/MySQL

· Exposure to Payments domain is a plus
