ABI Growth Group is seeking a Strategic Analytics & Insights Specialist to be a part of its Strategy & PMO team. In this role, you will work with executive leaders as a thought partner to synthesize insights and make data driven recommendations. Prior experience with data analytics and data visualization (Excel, Power BI) is mandatory. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have experience working with finance and business KPIs.
You will be working directly with a team located in ABI Growth’s global headquarters in New York, but also work closely teams located across the Americas. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
What you'll do:
- Be part of a cross-functional global team, directly contributing to making data-driven initiatives successful in an efficient way to keep building the robust Growth Group Strategy
- Lead the evolution of our “always on” Power BI dashboards to provide visibility to senior leaderships (VPs and Chiefs) as well as insights to facilitate resource allocation to be used as input for our 1 year plan process
- Leverage company’s targets as key enablers to align resource allocation and team focus to on short / long term Company goals
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize data efficiency and quality for the Strategy & PMO team
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Generate insights to uncover business opportunities and present findings to key stakeholders and senior management to drive informed business decisions
- Prioritize and find the most efficient path towards solving complex, ambiguous business problems with data, keeping a mindset of simplicity, robustness and speed above all
- Contribute to monthly performance updates to senior leadership (Chiefs and CEO) across all functions of the Growth Group
What you'll need:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an analytics/data-driven role
- BA/BS/MS in Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field preferred (advanced degrees are a plus)
- Advanced knowledge and experience with large databases (Excel, Anaplan), data visualization tools (Power BI mandatory), and expertise on data models, database design/development, data mining and segmentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to synthesize data and insights on tight timelines and move quickly while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability and desire to work independently and in a start-up environment, which is fast-paced and requires ownership and accountability
- Desire to continuously learn new methodologies, adapt to business needs, and prioritize business goals
- Super communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with a general love of problem solving
- Proficient English is mandatory
