Position Overview 

Diligent is looking for a Staff Technology Program Manager to drive strategic projects spanning across multiple teams and products being primarily responsible for projects impacting Diligent flagship product: Boards and connected modules. The Staff Technology Program Manager should have deep understanding of agile methodologies they will need the ability to coordinate people and projects and needs to be a strong communicator a capable leader and true problem solver. 

In this position you will work on strategic programs that are visible on executive leadership level. You will work closely Engineering Managers and also with VP and Director level colleagues on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities 

  • Works on long-term/multi-year strategic programs, typically across pillars​. 
  • Able to define program goals, communicate project progress and status, manage dependencies, track and mitigate risk.  
  • Has excellent understanding of the organizational goals and able to contribute to strategic planning. Able to influence the engineering culture and practices of the teams. 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to represent Diligent externally, engaging with partners and customers​. 
  • Coaching and mentoring less experienced managers and colleagues. 

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Project Manager/Program Manager role. 
  • PMP certification preferred 
  • Experience in leading agile software development projects/programs 
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methodology, techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement). 
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills. 
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability. 
  • Outstanding organizational skills. 
  • Ability to analyze a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and time management skills.
