About the job

Help our team build a reporting solution that is used by the contact center supervisors, managers, and data analysts to operate and improve the quality of their Flex Contact Center. You will work closely with the engineering team, architects as well as stakeholders to help deliver new features and maintain high quality and stability of existing products. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work with product management and architects to define the functional and non-functional requirements.
  • In collaboration with the tech lead and Architects or independently, design appropriate solutions that satisfy scale, latency and reliability requirements.
  • Implement, test and maintain solutions and models that control the data flows through the entire Customer Engagement Platform.
  • Collaborate with your team and coach other members of the team.

Required:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, building and maintaining highly available backend systems in a public cloud environment.
  • Proficiency with the Java programming language.
  • Proficiency writing clean and testable code and with unit, integration, E2E and load testing.
  • Proficiency with data storage or SQL/NoSQL databases design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, event driven architectures and data processing, understanding of their benefits and challenges. Hands-on experience with either of the following technologies: Kafka Streams, Flink, Spark, Hadoop.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to make an impact and thrive in small teams. Ability to cooperate with other teams and stakeholders in the organization. Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, S3).
  • Hands-on experience with chaos testing.
  • Experience with Node.js or Kotlin. 

Location 

This role will be based remotely in Poland. 

Approximately <5% travel is anticipated.
