About the job

The Tooling & ERP team is responsible for delivering high-value features to internal teams that continually express new business needs. As a result, this team enhances our internal tools for Finance (Purchases), Supply Chain & Logistics (WMS and Manufacturing Management) using Odoo as the foundation.

Reporting to Eloi, the Engineering Manager, you will be tasked with developing features for internal teams and expanding our internal ERP ecosystem within Scaleway’s Information system.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of Scaleway modules and applications across the entire functional scope of our solutions based on Odoo versions 15 to 16
Participate in the migration of Scaleway versions in line with major new Odoo releases
Take part in enhancing development methods and tools: continuous integration, test-driven development, pair programming, code review, etc
Coach, guide, and manage the Tooling team's expertise
Analyze technical requirements and constraints
Take on the most complex development phases
Thoroughly review the team's merge requests
Actively participate in all team agile rituals (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.)

Preferred qualifications

Proficient in Python and Odoo
Familiar with common DevOps tooling like Docker / CI-CD / Ansible
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English, including the ability to summarize effectively.
