About the Role:
● As our Frontend Developer you will be involved in creating amazing fintech product experience for users.
● You will do this by building efficient applications through collaborations with other engineers to build delightful user experiences.
● You will try to understand and resolve customer pain points by ensuring the consistency and quality of our product.
● Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
● Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
● Mentor engineers, build and maintain the capabilities that enable the team in delivering faster and effective business results
About the team:
PayU Finance is the credit and lending arm of the PayU brand (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Prosus group. Previously Naspers group) headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. PayU Finance India has disbursed about 20 billion loans to date by volume and has disbursed more than $280 million in consumer credit. PayU Finance provides consumers with easy access to affordable short-term loans up to INR 5 lacs that can be availed in the form of personal loans, point of sale EMI, and express loans.
PayU Finance operates under two brands - LazyPay and PaySense with a focus on Buy now Pay later and personal loan products.
• We are building apps within a strategic micro frontend platform where different teams deploy their applications via automated CI/CD pipelines
• We focus on building products operations user use to improve their workflows

• We need top-tier developers who have a strong and proven track record of delivering UI features with solid React, testing and LESS/SCSS principles.

What you’ll be doing:
● Invent patterns and reusable components that our team can assemble to build powerful UI Interfaces
● Clear understanding of software design patterns and principles.
● Take end-to-end ownership of products. Ideate on product requirements with the team and drive it from design to implementation.
● Build consistent, and fast, interfaces that thrive under heavy customization and varying use cases
● Always look for continuous improvement of UI using the latest front end frameworks and libraries
● Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
● Ownership to look for bugs and resolve them yourself, Integrate unit tests with pipelines.
● Make feature additions to your product – or even rewrite the whole product from scratch if you feel that’s necessary
What you would need to bring to the table:
● Experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS, LESS, SAAS and general Web 2.0 techniques
● Experience in React Redux Framework and good understanding of basics of these frameworks and their life cycles.
● Experience in NodeJS, GraphQL or other BFF frameworks.
● Background in the latest frontend technologies (e.g. ecma 6, ecma 5, Webpack, Grunt etc.)
● Command on impressive portfolio of the latest UI technologies is a plus
● In-depth knowledge of at least JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Redux, Angular, etc.) & library e.g jQuery
● Great communication skills
● Basic knowledge of Node Js will be a plus
● Basic knowledge of Web page optimization.
● Understanding of network layer, HTTP, HTTPS, cookies, local storage.
