As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll improve our platform SDK by shaping and refining its front-end and back-end services. You'll form an essential part of our dynamic Platform Tools Team, providing key technical support that turns visionary ideas into realities.
In this role you’ll collaborate cross-functionally, bridging gaps between various Cruise teams and extending the thread of cooperation to our partners on the GM and Honda teams. Your job is to pragmatically conquer challenges and to pave the way for seamless product delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
User Interface Development: Utilize your proficiency in React or a similar framework to design and develop sophisticated user interfaces for our AV Platform Tools. This task requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to transform technical requirements into intuitive interactions.
Backend Services Development: Use your skills in go or an equivalent language to develop robust and reliable backend services. Your role is pivotal in driving our platform's functionality and ensuring seamless, error-free operations.
Data Storage Construction: Architect resilient and efficient data storage solutions for configuration files and AV services. Your expertise in managing and maintaining data integrity will play a vital role in supporting our service delivery and enhancing system reliability.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise in UI Development: Demonstrated hands-on experience in crafting user interfaces using technologies such as React or Retool. Your portfolio should highlight your ability to translate user needs into intuitive, functional designs.
Backend Services Development Experience: Proven experience in creating and maintaining backend services using go or similar languages. Your experience will be essential in ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of our platforms.
Full-Stack Applications Knowledge: Solid understanding of the operational aspects and rollout procedures of full-stack applications. Your ability to manage and optimize the performance of complete software solutions will be critical in this role.
The salary range for this position is $139,000 - $204,300. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
Through our partnerships with General Motors and Honda, we are the only self-driving company with fully integrated manufacturing at scale.
