Your Opportunity

If you like to automate everything to do with clouds, systems, networks, and you know what it takes to secure them, this role is for you. As an Infrastructure Engineer, Tools & DevX Team, you will build solutions to enhance the availability, performance, and resilience of the Sysdig SaaS and On Premise products. You will collaborate with a high-performing Infrastructure team to help drive the scalability of the platform for our customers and the entire engineering organization.

What you will do 

  • Automate the installation of our entire platform deployments across different cloud vendors and on premise environments.
  • Build and improve internal developer tools and help drive true Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to increase productivity across the engineering organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and create automated solutions that streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and process workflows to facilitate seamless knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends, continuously improving skills and knowledge in platform automation, scripting, and containerization technologies.

What you will bring with you

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, preferably in Go, Python, or TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Containerd, 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, with experience in tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Flux/Argo/Harness.
  • Good understanding of Helm and Kubernetes, allowing for effective management and orchestration of containerized applications.
  • Working experience with on-premise Kubernetes environments is a plus, demonstrating an ability to adapt automation solutions to various deployment scenarios.
  • Exposure to Feature Flagging systems and methodologies, using tools like LaunchDarkly, Split.io, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Contract Testing methodologies, utilizing tools like Pact, Postman, or Pactflow is highly beneficial.

The U.S. annual base salary range for this full-time position is between $145,000 and $180,000 USD per year. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience and education.
