The project:

Currently, we are carrying out a project for the New York-based company - a charity organisation with 50 years of tradition, helping various social groups with IT innovations.
The project is connected with the development of a web application - an e-learning solution for children with ADHD and other disabilities, that helps them with homework and other self-development.
Application is in the development stage (the new version of the app), but there is still much to do - the roadmap contains a plan for creating new features, f.e. designing and developing solutions for document exchange between users or data collection solutions.
Building new functionalities and expanding the architecture to make it scalable

Stack: Python + Django, Apache for deploys, Linux, AWS, for the frontend side: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5/CSS3, Figma.
Optional, but not obligatory, you can also act as a Full Stack Developer, with frontend development in React.

Cooperation with a business, Product Owner and small, international (2-4 people) development team.

Taking part in meetings, occasionally also in the evening hours (7-8 PM PL timezone)

The recruitment process contains 2 stages:

• 1st cultural and general interview (30 minutes),
• 2nd Technical Interview (45 minutes).

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Python Development.
• Very good knowledge and practice in Django.
• Great communications skills - needed for carrying out a directly communication with the business.
• Nice to have: AWS Cloud, Linux, Apache.
• Very good English skills - at least C1 level.
• Nice to have: IT or related University's degreee.
• Possibility to start ASAP or max one month notice period, effective at the end of the month.
