About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science team. In this role, you will take ownership of a high-revenue, state-of-the-art data product, managing its development, deployment, and ongoing optimization. You will work closely with the Tech Lead to help build and maintain the ML Ops infrastructure that powers the platform. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both the platform’s infrastructure and innovative data products, making it ideal for individuals interested in both software engineering and machine learning solutions.

This role is located on-site 4 days a week at our headquarters in Chelsea, NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a high-revenue data product, managing its development, deployment, and optimization.

  • Lead the development and management of additional data products, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure the products meet business needs and support efficient workflows.

  • Contribute to major changes in the ML Ops platform, working closely with the Tech Lead.

  • Help build and maintain infrastructure components, including data pipelines, version control, and CI/CD systems.

  • Work closely with data scientists to understand their needs and improve platform support for rapid experimentation and deployment.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining data-driven products or machine learning models.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.

  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in key data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, AWS, Github Actions, etc.) is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.

  • A team player with a passion for both data products and platform engineering, and a desire to grow in both areas.

The annual base salary for the Senior Machine Learning Engineer is expected to be between $160,000 to $170,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
