Senior Data Scientist

The role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading advanced analytics projects, developing predictive models, and providing actionable insights. You will work closely with different stakeholders to identify business opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation to model deployment.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
• Develop and deploy predictive models to solve complex business problems, such as recommendation engines, churn prediction, or demand forecasting.
• Conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Proven expertise using machine learning techniques and algorithms to improve business performance.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Level of English.

Preferred requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals.
