Your Role at impact.com:

As a Software Engineer at impact.com, you'll work on a team locally and remote, building real time data processes at-scale. You can be part of the design and build of distributed systems with an opportunity to become an expert in the field.

We work with many of the world’s best-known brands - you will be directly building the product we are selling to these companies.

What You'll Do:

  • Be part of the Pathing team responsible for connecting billions of web events
  • Design, code and test a Graph Database application
  • Solve technical engineering problems of scale and performance
  • Work with Product Owners to refine and groom requirements
  • Demo new software to the internal engineering team
  • Participate in monthly Tech Radar discussions with engineering leads

What You Have:

  • Completed BSc. In Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Passionate about solving problems with Data and Distributed Computing
  • 3+ years programming experience in Java or Scala
  • 5+ years Software Development
  • Experience working with Big Data Tech such as:
    • NoSQL, Graph DB, HBase/Bigtable, Accumulo, Cassandra, MongoDB
    • Neo4j, Amazon Neptune. JanusGraph
    • Kafka, Pub/Sub, Streaming
    • Apache Spark, Google Dataflow
    • Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake
  • Experience with Relational Databases, Table design, SQL

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to any Google Cloud technology highly desired
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics is a plus

Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000 USD per year, plus additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.*This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
