Senior 3D Software Engineer

What you will do

• Develop interactive 3D visualizations for a cutting edge Generative Design tool
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including designers, and software engineers in multiple locations

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related disciplines, or equivalent industry experience
• Fluent in 3D graphics principles such as mesh creation and visualization, transformations, scenes, shaders, etc.
• Deep understanding of the full software development cycle and specifically the 3D Graphic software stack, the design, implementation and delivery of 3D graphical application
• Extensive knowledge of C/C++
• Extensive knowledge of Vulkan/OpenGL
• Extensive knowledge of 3D algorithms for modeling and scientific visualization
• Knowledge of linear algebra for computer graphics
• Experience using automated testing and continuous integration frameworks
• Exposure to software product development and delivery practices and related tools
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work with modern web technologies (e.g. React, Vue, etc)
• Computational geometry algorithms and methods
• Amazon Web Services APIs
• Lightweight virtualization technologies (Docker, etc.)
• Knowledge of QT, Python

• Permanent Contract 40h/week.

The position is based in Piacenza but smart working is also possible (ideally 20% office, 80% remote).
