About the job

As a Revenue Data Analyst Intern, you will support sales and marketing teams in analyzing and interpreting data to drive insights and inform decision-making processes. This internship will provide you with practical experience in analyzing revenue data, using various tools and methodologies. Joining our existing team of Revenue Analysts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth, optimize marketing strategies, and contribute to revenue generation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Preparation 
  • Collaborate with teams within the Revenue department and cross-functionally to understand data requirements and define data collection methodologies.
  • Collect, extract, and integrate relevant data from multiple sources, such as customer databases, marketing platforms, web analytics tools, and CRM systems through the BI pipeline.
  • Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analysis.

  • Reporting and Visualization
  • Conduct data quality and curation activities to refine Tableau reports, ensuring the retention of pertinent and accurate data visualizations.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (Tableau) to create visual representations of data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create regular performance reports for campaigns, channels, and marketing initiatives.

  • Data Analysis and Insights
  • Conduct customer segmentation and profiling analysis to identify target audiences and understand their behaviors and preferences.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, including ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value.
  • Generate actionable insights from data analysis to optimize marketing strategies, improve customer acquisition and retention, and drive revenue growth.
  • Create documentation for your dashboards/analysis to help people use and understand your results.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL, or similar languages, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics concepts and techniques (e.g., segmentation, campaign attribution).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience with revenue analysis, marketing analytics, or related internships is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of revenue forecasting and predictive analytics is a plus.
