Nextiva is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Web Developer/Website Owner with expertise in WordPress to join our innovative team. As the Lead Web Developer, you will not only take ownership of Nextiva's WordPress-based websites but also play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and innovation to elevate the Nextiva web experience, with a strong emphasis on building a revenue-generating website and marketing-focused strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of Nextiva's WordPress-based websites, ensuring their functionality, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress sites, ensuring they align with Nextiva's brand, business objectives, and revenue goals.
  • Lead a team of developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to understand business requirements and implement effective solutions within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build revenue through the website.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align web strategies with revenue goals and enhance the overall customer acquisition and retention experience.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to maximize the potential of the web development team, with a keen focus on aligning web strategies with marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Infuse a passion for testing into the development process, emphasizing the importance of thorough testing to maintain the highest standards of quality in our WordPress sites.
  • Implement and promote testing best practices, including automated testing, to enhance the reliability and stability of our WordPress solutions.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of marketing principles and leverage web development to support marketing initiatives effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices, optimize landing pages, and enhance the overall online presence to drive lead generation.
  • Lead initiatives to majorly improve our web experience on WordPress platforms, focusing on user-centric design principles, performance optimization, and revenue-generating features.
  • Instill a belief across the team that there is always room for improvement and actively seek out opportunities to enhance the overall quality, functionality, and revenue potential of our WordPress sites.
  • Encourage creative thinking and innovative problem-solving to address challenges specific to WordPress development, revenue generation, and marketing integration.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring seamless and effective delivery of high-quality WordPress-based web solutions aligned with revenue and marketing objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a lead web developer with a focus on WordPress.

- In-depth knowledge of WordPress, themes, plugins, and customization.

- Strong proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

- Experience with testing methodologies and a commitment to quality assurance.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
