Junior Software Engineer (Front-end)

About the role

• As a Junior Software Engineer with a focus on frontend and web development to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and updating PayU's website, contributing to enhancing the user experience and optimizing the performance of our platform.

What you'll do

• Develop and Maintain PayU’s Website
• Write clean, well-documented code that follows best practices. You’ll contribute to the development of new features while maintaining code quality through regular code reviews and unit testing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues to ensure a seamless user experience
• Continuously enhance the website by implementing new features and functionalities based on business needs.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree or in the last semesters of Systems Engineering and related careers
• At least 1 year of experience
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of responsive design and web performance optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
