WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer on the DRMM Team, you will be at the heart of developing and enhancing Kaseya’s Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) cloud service. This powerful platform enables customers worldwide to manage and support their distributed devices through cutting-edge tools deployed on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Your primary focus will be working on our browser-based Web Remote tool, helping build next-generation solutions that allow users to connect and control desktops from anywhere in the world. You’ll leverage F# and Fable for high-performance, real-time remote control functionality, ensuring reliability and seamless user experiences.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer who brings 7+ years of experience developing in the .NET ecosystem, including C#, C/C++, and F#. You should be excited about building scalable, high-performance systems and enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies in a cloud-native environment. As a key player in the DRMM team, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and take ownership of delivering powerful remote management solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Software Development: Design, build, and maintain applications and services that power Kaseya’s remote management solutions, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Remote Control Tool Development: Lead the development of the next-generation browser-based Web Remote tool, using F# and Fable, ensuring it offers superior performance for real-time remote desktop control.
  • Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms such as AWS to build, deploy, and scale our applications and services.
  • Agile Methodologies: Work in an agile environment, contributing to Scrum or Kanban processes to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced sprints.
  • Testing & QA: Develop automated testing strategies using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest, ensuring quality code and software stability.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align on requirements, architecture, and timelines.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Contribute to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes to automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • 7+ years of software development experience in the .NET ecosystem using C#, C/C++, and/or F#.
    • Windows development experience with a proven track record in creating applications that work seamlessly in Windows environments.
    • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure to build scalable, cloud-native solutions.
  • Software Development Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
    • Expertise in automated testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
    • Proficiency with Git or other version control systems, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Real-Time Communication: Experience with WebSockets or WebRTC for building real-time communication solutions.
  • Remote Control Software: Familiarity with remote access tools like TeamViewer.
  • Video Streaming: Experience working with video streaming protocols and technologies.
  • Frontend Development: Familiarity with modern web development frameworks, particularly React.
  • Open-Source Contributions: A passion for contributing to open-source projects and a strong community-oriented approach to coding.
