IT Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Analyst to join our team. The IT Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, supporting, and enhancing our organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.

1. System Analysis and Support:

• Analyze and evaluate existing IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot system errors, provide technical support to end-users, and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.

2. Requirement Gathering and Solutions:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IT system improvements.

• Develop and recommend technical solutions to meet business needs and improve efficiency.

3. Implementation and Testing:

• Assist in the implementation of new software, systems, and upgrades.

• Perform system testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.

4. Documentation and Training:

• Maintain and update technical documentation, user manuals, and IT policies.

• Provide training and support to employees on new and existing systems.

5. Data Management and Security:

• Monitor data integrity, security, and accessibility across IT systems.

• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and IT system optimization.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an IT Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and infrastructure.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, databases, and reporting systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations is a plus.

• Experience with project management methodologies is desirable.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).

• Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft are a plus.
