Responsibilities

As a Product Insights Analyst Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and maintenance of data products that drive organizational success through data-driven insights. Your primary responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and optimizing product usage data, understanding user behaviour, and providing recommendations for enhancing consumer engagement. Additionally, you will be involved in experimental initiatives that require research and prototyping of the use of GenAI with data.

In this role, you are also responsible for:

  • Data Gathering and Analysis

   - Gather, monitor, and analyze data to generate insights to inform the organization of trends, and opportunities to drive growth.

   - Leverage advanced AI technologies, including GenAI, to optimize data processes and ensure data accuracy and quality.

  • Democratize data across the organization

   - Create and manage data products, assets that will drive adoption and access to insights and data across internal teams and the wider organization.

   - Building and maintaining dashboards for data assets.

  • User Behavior Insights

   - Deepen the understanding of overall user behavior, feature and functionality usage, and inferred user needs.

   - Design and develop metrics, reports, and interactive dashboards using multiple data sources.

   - Provide a comprehensive 360-degree view of the consumer to inform decision-making

  • Data-Based Recommendations

   - Offer data-driven recommendations, enhanced by GenAI insights, to improve consumer engagement and guide product development.

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with product improvements.

  • Collaboration with Analytics Team

   - Partner with colleagues in the analytics organization to identify business challenges that can be addressed through data science and machine learning, including GenAI.

   - Conduct research and analysis on the application of AI technologies, including GenAI, in the industry.

   - Create and present prototypes that demonstrate the potential impact of these technologies on our products.

  • Feature Adoption and Usage Framework

   - Help drive the development of frameworks to understand and drive feature adoption, usage, and metrics

   - Generate insights and data products that make feature-related data easily understandable and actionable.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Soft Skills

  • Python, DBT, SQL, and database knowledge is a plus

  • Fast mover and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment

  • Resourceful in execution and results-oriented

  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making

  • Thoughtful team player, a quick learner, and have a “can do” attitude with a growth mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex data and AI insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Interns who will be able to commit on a full-time basis for at least 6 months will be preferred.
