Job Description

How often do you get to fundamentally shape an entire SaaS product from the ground up? Rare! right? This is one of those exciting opportunities. As a fullstack engineer on our team, you get to reimagine what a managed data lake experience should look like and ensure an UX experience for our customer, which is as magical as our underlying technology.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our product leaders to deeply understand business requirements and come up with UX flows, mocks for new features.
Drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of all user facing functionality on our web application.
In close collaboration with our backend engineers, exhibit ownership of all of product flows and UI elements.
Deliver full stack solutions by using a variety of UI frameworks and web technologies.

Must Haves

2+ years of frontend software engineering experience
Strong command of React (Typescript), HTML/CSS and other frontend technologies
Strong command of backend (Java or similar)
Hands-on experience with grpc(web, and streaming APIs), protobuf
Experience with databases (RDBMS, Firebase)
Strong CS Fundamentals
Proficient with principles of good user experience. UI/frontend development
Fast mover, ability to balance speedy execution with quality of output
Good communication skills

Bonus Skills

Familiar and comfortable with AWS/GCP cloud services/environment
Material UI and experience with advanced data visualization components
Good backend/REST API design skills
