This team works in the Analytics area of the Pendo as one of the core feature teams. With Pendo Analytics, our customers can track user behavior immediately across their web, mobile, and internal apps with Pendo’s retroactive analytics. Using those insights, users know which features users adopt or ignore, and see how they navigate their entire product portfolio. Our customers are able to make better, data-informed decisions that improve product adoption using the analytics solutions we provide.

As a Front-End Engineer, you will collaborate within the team and also cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and back-end developers, to design and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and scalable code, as well as staying abreast of emerging front-end technologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web development, proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as VueJS, and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Deliverables (what you’ll do):

  • Write maintainable, high-quality code that solves customer pain points
  • Design solutions to large, complex, and/or ambiguous problems
  • Learn Pendo’s coding standards and practices through code reviews
  • Add input on code reviews, designs, and technical questions from within the team and the organization
  • Implement unit & automated testing with Jest & Cypress to accompany code changes
  • Quickly troubleshoot customer issues & implement solutions to address them
  • Foster positive team discussions and decisions in epic and story groomings

Qualifications (what you have):

  • 2+ years of experience writing Javascript code
  • Experience working in modern frontend frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS, etc.) 
  • Modern collaboration tools (such as git, npm, GitHub)
  • Teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, passion for the frontend
  • Strong attention to detail & understanding of trade-offs
  • Strong Front End fundamentals in JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, working with APIs
  • State management experience (e.g. Vuex, Redux, Flux, etc.)
  • Obtained a 4-year technical degree or equivalent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highcharts, D3, or other visualization libraries
  • Vue experience
  • TypeScript experience

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Raleigh, NC is $105,000 - $120,000.

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
