About The Role

As an Engineering Manager, the primary focus of this role is to oversee the growth and development of a team of up to six engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating a collaborative and productive working environment, leveraging their leadership skills to guide the team towards achieving key milestones. You should possess excellent collaboration and partnership skills with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards innovation and excellence in development for this new focus area.

This is a new team and a new initiative for us at Chainlink, you will be responsible for helping the team build and grow from the ground up.

Your Impact

As an Engineering Manager in Payments, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence across the team. With a strong emphasis on fostering the growth of engineering talent, you will ensure timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for making an impactful contribution across the team and organisation.

Requirements

Experience in managing a team of at least 4 engineers
Delivered multiple highly impactful products end to end as the team lead and/or manager
Delivered products that had high performance and reliability requirements
Ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong focus on engineers growth
Deliver on time with high quality under any circumstances
Building reliant systems with accuracy
Blockchain familiarity
Excellent project management skills

Preferred Requirements

Experience with Smart contracts
Exposure to distributed systems
Worked in a product led organisation
