Position Overview

The Director, Site Reliability Engineering will be responsible for Diligent’s Incident, Problem, Release, Change, BCP, and Vendor Management practices.  This includes designing the practices to be in line with Diligent Change Management, Business Continuity, Security, and other policies.  Managing the roll out training, coordination and communication of all Service Management related processes and activities.  This position is strategic as responsibilities cover ALL Diligent Products and Services that generate revenue. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating & maintaining policies, establishing process, enabling stakeholders, and validating proper controls are in place and measurable. We are looking for a team player with excellent communications skills, who is committed to continuously improving and delivering results.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the end-to-end Incident Management lifecycle from incident manager to Postmortem corrective action tasks are completed.
  • Define and implement Problem Management across all Diligent portfolio products
  • Produce monthly Availability Report
  • Manage the release schedule for our products and services
  • Define, coordinate, refine, and enforce the release process and related tasks
  • Deliver tooling and process necessary for Service Management to Diligent technology teams
  • Manage day to day Change Management process
  • Ensuring that the process is well known to all stakeholders via SRE Launch Pad site
  • Onboarding Diligent products into our Service Management practice
  • Producing monthly Operability Report that includes but not limited to incident, problem, root cause, release, change metrics
  • Policy Owner for Diligent BCP and Change Management Policy
  • Build Global team to perform Service Management functions 24x7x365
  • Continually improve process

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Extensive experience operating global teams in Public (AWS) and Private Clouds
  • Great organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to pick up the pace during major outages.
  • Confident in collaborating and building trust with people outside immediate team.
  • Proven project management experience to resolve bottlenecks and find opportunities for standardization.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management practices such as ITIL.
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence & StatusPage.io)
  • Strong Knowledge of ServiceNow
