We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Data Services to lead our data engineering and analytics teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and driving best practices in data integration, engineering, artificial intelligence and reporting. This role will provide team leadership, architectural design expertise, operational efficiency and actionable insights that influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy:
• Develop and implement the data services strategy in alignment with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, analysts and data scientists.
• Ensure internal use of Celigo Integrator.io is a model of best in class iPaaS.
• Foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
• Data Management:
• Design, scale and maintain primary and supporting data warehouses.
• Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of data from various sources.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Implement and manage data governance policies.
• Analysis & Insights:
• Conduct in-depth analyses to extract actionable insights and identify trends.
• Utilize statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering, to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance data capabilities.
• Tool & Technology Management:
• Evaluate, select, and implement analytics tools and technologies.
• Maintain and optimize data analytics infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Reporting:
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key business metrics.
• Regularly review and refine reporting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, with at least 4 years in a management role within a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, DBT) and visualization tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and KPIs.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $200,000 - $240,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
