About the job

The Serverless DB team is building a highly scalable database product integrated with the Scaleway ecosystem.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of leading your teammates to achieve a high quality - high impact, product.

You will be responsible for contributing to develop, operate, and optimize the product, along with your teammates.

You will also play a key part in the technical stack design and product backlog management.

Minimum qualifications

Good experience in Golang & Backend development (any other languages are welcome)
Experience with typical DevOps tooling: git, ci/cd, containers
Good knowledge of the relational database products: Postgres, MySQL
Good command of English (French is a plus)

Preferred qualifications

Experience with typical DevOps tooling: git, ci/cd, containers
Knowledge of NoSQL products: Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB
Experience with team tools: GitHub/GitLab, JIRA, Slack
Excellent knowledge of microservices and cloud patterns (K8s is a plus)
Familiarity with quality enhancers: unit/end-to-end testing and documentation
Sysadmin and networking knowledge

Responsibilities

Contribute to the product codebase, adding features/tests, finding/fixing bugs
Help defining the right architectural choices and choosing the technologies
Operate the product
Contribute to the team growth
Challenge your Engineering manager and Product manager

Location

Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible
