About the job
The Network Products team develops and operates network functionalities for Scaleway's cloud (Elements) and bare metal (Dedibox) customers. The products include Load Balancer, Private Networks and future releases which will include a complete Virtual Private Cloud offering.
Our activities combine pure API/backend/worker software development and network device automation through software (aka SDN).
We share a real passion for networking and cloud technologies in general.
Reporting to the Network Products Engineering Manager Ruben Obadia, you will be in charge to build our portfolio of networking products.
Minimum qualifications
- 5 years experience in coding, ideally in a hosting or cloud provider company.
- 5 years experience with Linux.
- Hands-on networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTPS).
- You are familiar with or strongly interested in the world of hosting and the cloud, and you are willing to learn cloud networking.
- Very good command of English

- Team player and willing to work hard and have fun
Responsibilities
- Develop new IaaS/PaaS products from scratch (API/backend/worker)
- Add new functionalities to existing products
- Improve the testing coverage of new or existing products
- Write technical product documentation (usage, APIs)
- Keep code easy to maintain
- Manage the operation (Run) in weekly turns

Junior Level
41,000 - 53,000+ EUR per year
Professional Level
49,000 - 67,000+ EUR per year
Senior Level
61,000 - 83,000+ EUR per year
