WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations. They focus on streamlining software development processes, ensuring efficient code deployment, and maintaining robust R&D infrastructure. As a DevOps engineer, you’ll collaborate with developers, testers, and system administrators to enhance the entire software development lifecycle.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be expected to take ownership of and troubleshoot highly technical issues in a logical manner to reach a final resolution. They should recommend solutions to solve these issues and work closely with other team members to meet common objectives. This engineer should have a good base understanding of CI/CD methodologies and technologies. They should also be eager to learn and work on new environments and technologies. They should be very self-motivated and be able to succeed with minimal day-to-day supervision. This engineer should be respectful and courteous to all other departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for seamless CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure Management: Build, test, and maintain infrastructure components to support software development and release.
• Automation: Develop and manage automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient code changes.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Tool Selection and Configuration: Evaluate and select appropriate tools for DevOps processes (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for processes, configurations, and infrastructure.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Strong understanding of development and operations processes
• Awareness of security best practices in DevOps
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, JFrog/Artifactory)
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
• Proficiency in AWS is desirable. Familiarity in other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity in serverless architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
