We are looking for a  Data Engineer to work with our Business Operations team, combining raw information from different data sources to be consumed by our internal reporting platforms. Also assisting in the development and testing of architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for reporting and/or predictive modeling.

What would your day look like?

  • Developed detailed data models and dictionaries for use in data warehouses, enabling stakeholders to easily access and report on critical organizational data.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines to move data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
  • Automated data integration processes to increase efficiency, providing organizations with the ability to effectively track and analyze Business data
  • Implemented a data mart system to store data for reporting, providing stakeholders with actionable insights on financial performance and customer purchasing activity
  • Analyzed and troubleshot data quality issues, improving overall data accuracy
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

What you need to succeed?

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Experience in data ingestion & ETL Pipelining in tools such as Amazon Web Services 
  • Data Modelling & Analysis 
  • Data Warehousing & Management 
  • Data Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting 
  • Data Architecture & Systems Architecture 
  • Experience writing complex queries or script languages like SQL and Python is a must, JavaScript experience would be beneficial.
  • Automated Data Integration & Processing 
  • Business Intelligence  & Analytics Solutions, experience in tools such as Amazon Web Services is key, AWS Glue, Quicksight experience would be preferred or other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau etc
  • Data Visualization & Dashboarding
