We are seeking an enthusiastic Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team and play a key role in building impactful products that go beyond internal needs and reach a wider audience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀:

On Manychat's Data Engineering team, we strive for excellence in everything we do. While our day-to-day tasks are essential, we go beyond them to uncover new opportunities and create valuable experiences.

As part of the team, you will:

• Develop, implement, and support the growth of our Data Platform, which is built on the Snowflake cloud database. We handle around 50k RPS and use Anchor Modeling techniques for data storage.
• Integrate new services, data, and data sources into Data Platform.
• Build, support, and adapt Data Platform infrastructure to meet new challenges.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 💥

You'll need:

• Technical knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Python is essential (Python 3, data processing and analytics).
  • System administration of Debian-based Linux systems, cloud environments, andAWS.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and virtualization of applications using Docker. Experience in Kubernetes clusters deploy is a huge plus.
  • SQL expertise for data analysis and investigation.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, and Snowpark Container Services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with BI Reporting tools.
  • System design skills. Experience in designing complex, evolving IT systems with AI, ML, and analytical components.
• Data security:
  • Designing systems safe from data leaks and detecting potential security vulnerabilities.
• Communication:
  • English proficiency at B1/B2 level to participate in complex technical discussions with colleagues.
  • The ability to communicate with colleagues in a supportive and polite manner.
  • Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.
• Innovative spirit:
  • A drive to think out of the box, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the team's goal of being a profitable unit.
• Team player:
  • While individual contributions are valued, the ability to collaborate and share knowledge within the team and the broader organization is essential.
