About This Role
We’re looking for a Data Architect who wants to be part of a great team as we re-align with every business vertical. You’re an inherently curious, caring Engineer who is motivated by complex technical problems and are solution-oriented. You will manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and align them with what we're building.
The team’s goal is to find value quickly as the business is continually changing, and we need to adapt to their needs. We’re aligning with GTM in a more direct way, which is typically a rapidly moving organization. The team works in AWS, Postgres, Snowflake, and dbt.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Apply understanding of architectural principles with minimal guidance
- Understand and map end-to-end business processes in the relevant domain
- Consider regulatory guidelines like SOX, GDPR, and CCPA in solution design
- Model simple processes and contribute to architecture review meetings
- Evaluate solutions/tools and assess build vs. buy decisions
- Design solutions spanning multiple products/technologies with guidance
- View solutions from various stakeholder viewpoints and address their requirements
- Design extensible and future-proof solutions to a practical extent
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders and present complex concepts effectively
- Lead design and architecture review meetings for small to medium-complexity solutions
- Seek continuous improvement in architectural knowledge and stakeholder management skills

- Skills to design extensible and future-proof solutions where appropriate
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading design and architecture review meetings
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in architectural knowledge and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent skills with Python, SQL, or similar languages
- A deep understanding of AWS, Snowflake, and dbt
- Experience with visualization or reporting tools like Tableau, Sigma

The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$214,200—$252,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:
$196,400—$231,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$178,500—$210,000 USD
