Backend Engineer – SwaggerHub Portal

• Development of new features and capabilities in collaboration with an international team of developers, testers, UX designers and product managers.

Product intro:

SwaggerHub Portal is SmartBear’s developer portal which will directly integrate with SwaggerHub’s API design capabilities. SwaggerHub Portal will enable API Providers to customize an Organization’s landing page where API Consumers can come and access documentation, guides and resources for how to use the Provider’s Products.

About the role:

As a Backend Engineer you will be working on an international team to build new features and capabilities of the world’s best solution for API development and documentation. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers, and UX designers. 

• Implementing new functionality in close cooperation with stakeholders.
• Build well designed, clean microservices with solid technical foundations.
• Drive high engineering standards engaging in peer design and code reviews, refining sessions, etc
• Create and maintain technical and support documentation.
• Ensure test coverage and code quality are in line with established guidelines.

We are looking for you if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering in Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Writing maintainable and testable code.
• Experience with SQL schema design and query optimization
• Knowledge of how to write secure code.
• Preferably experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools
• English on at least B2 level.
