The project:

The project helps national and international transport operators bring their technology and digital passenger services up to 21st century standard. Based on the core platform customers are able to easily deploy, update and manage their digital assets and passenger services on their vehicles.

As a Backend Developer you will be working on the development of new products and the enhancement of existing services. Your responsibilities include working on API and backend development - primarily in Python and exclusively in a Linux environment. The project runs in the cloud ! You have a reasonable understanding of cloud platforms and networks to drive seamless integration across infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Backend development experience with Python
• Experience with writing and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of message queues and IPC
• Experience with Docker or alternative container solutions
• Good database and SQL knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of Linux, git, CI/CD and ticket systems
• Working knowledge of setting up and using cloud services like AWS, Azure, openStack …
• Working knowledge of VPN and Firewalls
