Technical Program Manager - Infrastructure

Your Impact

• Maintain constant communication with stakeholders across the company and understand the infrastructure needs that each Chainlink team and project has—or will have in the near future. You will then help the Infrastructure team plan for those needs as much in advance as possible and help keep urgent last-minute requests to a minimum. If our backlog is organized, all external infrastructure requirements are known in advance, and Infrastructure is always able to provide timely support to other teams, that's how you know you are successful at this part of the job.


• Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors who provide infrastructure _to us_: external blockchain node providers is one example of this. You will be responsible for finding the best providers, communicating our requirements, and making sure the service reliability and performance continuously meets our SLA. You will be successful at this part of the job if all contractors and vendors we rely on for infrastructure are as reliable as everything we manage internally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in startups; proven track record of managing highly successful projects strongly preferred. We are looking for an experienced manager who will be able to join an already high-performing team and raise its bar for operational excellence even further.
• Experience managing or closely working with DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE teams; alternatively, prior experience as a Software Engineer, a DevOps Engineer, or an SRE. We are looking for someone who deeply understands modern cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience coordinating across time zones. Our team is fully remote and highly distributed geographically, and so are our stakeholders.
• Strong passion for blockchain, DeFi, and the overall future of Web3. It will be hard to be successful at this role if you don't understand what we are doing and why.
